Issue#1: Issue with VL10A
When Newera attempted to create a delivery for sales order 3373564 using VL10A, it ran into a failure. When running VL10A, entered the following criteria:
- Shipping Point: 0116
- Delv. Creation Date: Blank
- Material: 11414009
After processing, deliveries were not created. Looking at the error log in V.21, error “Delivery group 070 is not complete (delivery group will be deleted)”.
Newera believes this error occurs because they specified a single material from the sales order in VL10A, but both items in the order have delivery group 070. The system is shows error because it expects all items with the same delivery group to ship together.
Newera question was how does this delivery group get determined? I noticed that the group number is 70, which is the same as the delivery priority. Looking at a different order, we can see that the delivery group is 0, so I cannot figure out how this is determined.
Solution Analysis and Recommendations

Issue#1: As part of the analysis BMS observed that the user (ASHMEL) has manually updated the delivery group 70 in the sales order in MASS. Below is the screenshot.
it is found that the delivery group is not configured and it is freely definable up to 3 digits.By manually assigning delivery group in the SO , it will combine individual or all document items for the delivery so that the customer receives the combined items on the same date.
